Arlene Webb of Rogers, Ark., fell asleep in death Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born Oct. 29, 1932, in Newton, to Dan and Doris Kool. Although she loved to travel and has lived in Colorado, Georgia, Arizona, California and Arkansas — she spent most of her life in Newton.

Family and friends will long remember Arlene’s sense of humor and generosity. She retired from Maytag and spent her final years in Arkansas on Beaver Lake. Arlene loved to watch and care for numerous birds and Coconut — her Golden Doodle companion. She will be missed by all.

Arlene is survived by her uncle, Gene Buckley of Monroe; sister, Marilyn (John) Wickencamp of Newton, and their seven children; two daughters, Connie Mishler of Charleston, S.C., and Sharon (Mark) Diamond of Rogers, Ark.; four granddaughters, Jill Mishler, Melissa Mishler, Shannon (Roger) Mace and Baylee (Loren) Swanson; and many more step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. April 22 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 301 Highway 62, Avoca, Ark. 72711.
