SULLY — Lynnville-Sully’s boys amassed 146 points to win their division title at Tuesday’s Lynnville-Sully Hawk Co-ed Relays. Pella Christian edged out Montezuma, 105-102, to claim the girls’ division title.
It was close atop the girls’ team scoring list through fifth place. BGM took third with 95.5 points with Lynnville-Sully in fourth at 95. Colfax-Mingo was fifth with 93.5 points. North Mahaska was sixth with 52 points and HLV had 44 points for seventh.
In the boys’ division, BGM placed third with 79 points followed by Pella Christian with 74 points. Colfax-Mingo was fifth with 71 points. HLV finished sixth at 61 points and North Mahaska was seventh with 40 points.
The results were delayed because of a technical problem with the automatic timing system at the meet. Because of space constraints, the Newton Daily News is publishing only the scoring results from Lynnville-Sully and Colfax-Mingo.
