The Jasper County FSA Office recently announced Howard Bond was elected to his third Jasper County Committee term. Howard will represent producers from Local Administrative Area (LAA) #3, which includes Clear Creek, Independence, Poweshiek, Sherman, Washington, Mound Prairie and Des Moines Townships.
FSA appreciates all of the voters for taking the time to complete the election ballot. The county committee system works only because of your participation.
The committee members held their organizational meeting on Dec. 15, 2016 and voted Howard Bond to serve as Chairman, Mike Bleakney will serve as Vice Chairman, and Randy Rozendaal will serve as the regular member of the committee. In addition to the election of officers, it was determined that the Jasper County Committee will meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m. Meeting times are subject to change, and if you plan to attend a meeting, please call to confirm the meeting date and time.
