Sunbonnet Questers
The Sunbonnet Questers met at the home of Judy Swenson Dec. 5 for a Christmas gathering and wonderful food. Each member contributed a favorite hors d’oeuvre. A brief business meeting was held with eight members and two prospective members answering roll call. The subject this evening was a favorite Christmas memory which prompted much discussion on each reply.
Following the meeting, games were played and Charlotte Townsend presented each attendee with a gift. These were cook books from her mother-in-law. The plan is to have a pot-luck meeting in the spring with each member making a recipe for the event from the book she received. Swenson served a wonderful chocolate dessert to see the group on its way.
The next meeting will be at the home of Jeanette Shannon March 8.
