Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors tour at the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge near Prairie City on Wednesday.
After coffee time, the group will watch a movie about the refuge, view the exhibits and listen to refuge staff talk about current projects and programs taking place. The morning will end with a driving tour through the bison and elk enclosure.
The group will meet in the lobby of the refuge’s visitor center at 9:30 a.m. Please preregister for this program by calling Jasper County Conservation at 641-792-9780.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
