Iowa Youth Chorus, in cooperation with the Newton Public Library, is offering a children’s choir camp the week of July 25.
It will be held in the meeting room at the library Monday through Thursday nights from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Financial support has been provided by the Newton Rotary and the Jasper County Arts Connection. In kind donations have been made by Mattingly Music, Subway, McDonald’s, Domino Pizza and Taco John’s —dinner is provided for the children each night.
A final performance, including a created musical based on a book of their choosing, will be presented at 7 p.m. July 28 and is open to the public.
