Darlene Gunn, 87, of Hiawatha formerly of Newton, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Hiawatha Care Center in Hiawatha. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. Friends of Darlene Gunn may greet the family at the church prior to the service on Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
