Campaign remains focused on the issues

As my opponent attempts to label me as something I am not, I believe it speaks volumes that those working for quality jobs, equal pay and safer work environments — AFSCME, Iowa Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and Teamsters — are supporting me, not my opponent. I am honored and humbled they recognize what I stand for and who I am, which is someone who will always stand up for working families.

My opponent and his supporters have and will probably continue to make false accusations, claims, quotes, etc. about me. As we approach the final days of the campaign for House District 29, I want to remind all parties to stay focused on the issues and how we can help one another. It is disappointing to see my opponent and his supporters continue with a negative, non-issue campaign. I believe people are tired of the negative attacks on my supporters and me and are ready for positive change. If you want to know the truth about me, just ask me. I am someone who will respond, listen and work together toward solutions.

This election is about you the voter and whom you believe has the ability to best represent you. Let’s show that negativity doesn’t win. Stand up and let your voice be heard. Please vote for me, Wes Breckenridge, in the June 7 primary.

Wes Breckenridge
