An Ohio man was killed in a semi crash on Interstate 80 Saturday.
Richard E. Kahyaoglu, 55, of Perrysbury, Ohio was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred at about 2:30 p.m. near mile marker 176, between the Highway T12/Iowa 224 Kellogg/Sully exit and the T38 exit for Lynnville at mile marker 179.
According the the Iowa State Patrol accident report, Kahyaoglu was traveling west when he drifted over the fog line and collided with the rear left of a semi that was broken down on the shoulder. Following the collision, Kahyaoglu's vehicle separated and landed on its side in the north ditch.
The driver of the other semi was uninjured and the accident remains under investigation.
The Jasper County Sheriff's Office and Kellogg Emergency Rescue assisted at the accident.
