MARSHALLTOWN — A man suspected of setting six fires over the past few months is being sought in Marshalltown.
All the burned properties were abandoned or unoccupied and that the fires occurred at different times of the day or night. No injuries have been reported.
Marshalltown Fire Chief David Rierson says a passer-by reported seeing a man described as “scruffy looking” standing outside as a house burned Friday on East Boone Street.
