• Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at Berg Middle School in Newton. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m. This event is open to the public.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• Newton Chamber Annual Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Newton DMACC.

• Sen. Marco Rubio Debate Watch Party! will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at AmericInn Lodge & Suites meeting room, 4401 S. 22nd Ave. E. in Newton. Watch the GOP debate and support Sen. Marco Rubio. Coffee and water will be provided, drinks are availible for purchase. Feel free to bring a snack to share if you feel so inclined.
