The first in the nation Iowa caucus will be held Feb. 1. I wish to invite all residents of Jasper County to attend the Republican caucus at their respective precinct location. All attendees will vote by secret ballot for their preferred Republican presidential candidate.
If you are a registered Republican all you need to do is check in at the caucus. If you are a registered Democrat, a registered independent, or are unregistered, you will need to fill out a voter registration form designating the Republican Party. If you will be 18 years of age by Nov. 8, 2016, you may participate in the caucus. Please bring an ID to the caucus, it will make check in and registration quicker.
