WEST UNION — A sheriff’s deputy has been assaulted while attempting to arrest a man for trespassing on a property east of West Union. Terry S. Mork, 53, has been charged with assault on a peace officer, criminal trespassing and interference with official acts. Deputies were called to the property around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Mork assaulted the deputy during the arrest.
