Chapter K-EN TTT
Chapter K-EN T.T.T met on Nov. 10 at First Congregational Church. The day started at 2 p.m. with the annual cheese ball project. Four hundred cheese balls were made, and can be purchased from any member of the group. Proceeds support the TTT camping project and sends girls from Newton to summer camp.
Following the work session, dinner was provided by members of the group and the business meeting started at 6 p.m. Treasurer and secretary reports were given. The programs and meeting venues were set and the new year books are being prepared for next year. The budget had been set and was reported.
Val McKee reported on a trip to the national convention last month. Dues for membership and initiation will be raised by the votes at the session. Departed members Ruth Cleverly and Loretta Wendt were honored at the memorial service. The meeting closed and members were reminded that the next meeting will be the Christmas dinner and exchange at Kay Parsons’ home.
