A Republican presidential candidate is making his second recent trip to Newton, with auto racing again as a theme — in a different way, this time.
Chris Christie will hold a town hall meeting at 1:30 p.m., Oct. 21 at the Raceway Cafe, 2331 First Ave. E. The theme for this town hall meeting is “Tell It Like It Is.”
The New Jersey governor made an appearance during an Iowa Speedway race event in Newton in early August.
