STORM LAKE — A man accused of setting fire to an apartment complex in Storm Lake has been placed on probation.
Vincent Nichols, 24, was sentenced Tuesday. He had pleaded guilty last week to one count of third-degree criminal mischief. According to authorities, Nichols set fires in the basement of the apartment complex, which caused heavy smoke to fill the building. No injuries were reported.
