A Newton woman is charged with five counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene material after authorities were called about a possible sexual abuse Aug. 12.
Breanna R. Bragg, 23, is accused of sending sexually explicit photos to a 15-year-old male victim.
In an investigation that started Sept. 2, officers were called to the residence of the victim where they were called to search the victim’s phone. On the phone, officers found conversations indicating that Bragg and the boy were engaged in a sexual relationship. It contained specific references to the two being caught during a sexual act at a Des Moines residence.
Seven photos of Bragg were also found on the phone, five of which were sexual in nature.
Bragg was taken to the Jasper County Jail were she was released on a $5,000 bond.
