DENISON — A 10-year-old boy has died after an all-terrain vehicle rolled on top of him in rural Denison.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. Sunday. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said Devon Auen was riding the ATV when it became stuck on an incline. Authorities say Auen began to rock the ATV, which then fell on him. He was transported to Crawford County Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated by Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol.
