District Champions

Newton’s Junior All Stars team won the Little League district championship and is competing in the state tournament Saturday through Monday at Beverdale Little League Complex. It is a double-elimination tournament. Members of the team are, from left, Norbert Riyazimana, Julian Hotchkin, Ty Arguello, Blake Cockerton, Jacob Murphy, Cole Webster, Aaron Bartels, Taylor Danley, Ryan Barr, Taylor Greiner and Luke Maharry.
