The Iowa High School Athletic Association released the district baseball pairings for the Class 1A and 2A on Wednesday and Lynnville-Sully will have a chance to play three home games.
The Hawks will open Class 1A District 11 play at 7 p.m. July 14 against Colo-NESCO. If they win that game, the Hawks stay at home to play either Iowa Valley or North Mahaska at 7 p.m. July 16. The district championship game will be played in Sully July 18.
On the other side of the bracket is Colfax-Mingo, and the Tigerhawks open District 11 play against HLV at 7 p.m. on July 11. That game will be played at BGM High School in Brooklyn. The Colfax-Mingo/HLV winner faces BGM in Brooklyn at 7 p.m. July 14.
That winner meets either Montezuma or Belle Plaine in the district semifinals in Brooklyn on July 16.
Collins-Maxwell/Baxter and Prairie City-Monroe will play in Class 2A.
The Raiders are in the top half of the 2A District 14 bracket and will face Madrid in Ogden at 5 p.m July 11. The winner faces Ogden at 7 p.m. July 14.
All District 14 playoff games will be hosted by Ogden. The district championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 18 and the rest of District 14 includes North Polk, Woodward Academy and Woodward-Granger.
PCM will play in 2A District 11. The Mustangs open the tournament at 7 p.m. on July 11 against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in Albia. That winner faces Davis County in Albia at 5 p.m. on July 14.
The other side of the bracket features Pella Christian, Central Decatur and Albia. The championship game is slated for July 18 in Albia.
