ST. PAUL, Minn. — Isaac Mathison-Bowie, a graduate of Newton High School and the son of Tiare Mathison of Seattle, Wash. and Stephen Bowie of Waunakee, Wash., has been named to the Macalester College dean’s list for academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2014-15 school year.
Mathison-Bowie was a senior at Macalester last fall.
To be eligible for the dean’s list a student must have been registered as a full-time, degree-seeking student and may not have been on a study away program. Furthermore, a student must have achieved a semester grade point average of at least 3.75, twelve or more credits on a regular grading option, no grades below C-, and no withdrawal or incomplete grades for the semester.
