Florence I. (Adams) Koppin, 100, of Newton, died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at the Villa Del Sol in Marshalltown. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the funeral home. Memorials to Iowa River Hospice may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Those left to honor Florence’s memory are her daughter, Joyce (David) Bollhoefer of Laurel; four grandchildren, Bonnie (Mark) Ohrt of Haverhill, Consuela (Scott) Laurel, Jim (Dawn) Bollhoefer of Newton and Ron (Kim) Bollhoefer of Garwin; her nine great-grandchildren, Casey (Joel) Faircloth, Wesley Ohrt, Candace Allen, Ashley Allen, Stephanie (Luke) Beintema, Katie Miller, Jacob (Megan) Bollhoefer, Lacy Bollhoefer and Shayna Bollhoefer; seven great-great-grandchildren, Carson, Mia, Jacobe, Bella Rose, Laurlie, Eleanor and Adelaide; and her brother, Robert Adams of Alpena, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen E. Koppin; son, Jimmie Dale Koppin; and four brothers, Hollis, Virgil, Russell and Clyde Adams.
