To the editor,
One of the right-wing TV commercials is an attempt to get you to believe that Bruce Braley is to blame for no action in Congress regarding veteran issues. What they want you to forget is the fact that Republicans control the U.S. House of Representatives and therefore control of all U.S. House committees and the agenda, including the committee on Veterans Affairs.
The Republicans will sacrifice veterans and anyone else to avoid passing any meaningful legislation for fear that President Barack Obama may get credit for Washington, D.C. doing something for our country.
