In the 200-meter dash, Samson posted a time of 22.92 seconds for sixth place. He was the top finisher from Iowa.

Meyer combined with Gafford, Levi TeBrink and Nathan Karlan to take second in the 4x200-meter relay race in 1 minute, 29.44 seconds. Wisconsin won in 1:28.02.

Samson and Meyer joined Karlan and Gafford to give Team Iowa a second-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay race. The Iowa foursome ran the race in 42.95 seconds. Wisconsin was first in 42.45 seconds.
