The 10th Annual Hoofin’ It 5K Road Race/Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 26, by the Bear Athletic Center in Grinnell.
All are welcome. Registration is $15 a person before race day and $20 on race day. Participants will receive a T-shirt, and all proceeds of the race will go to S.H.E. Counts, a local organization that works to empower girls and women in Powesheik County.
To register, stop by the table in Grinnell College’s JRC Market Place on Eighth Avenue in Grinnell from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday or from 5 to 7 p.m. April 24 and 25, pick up a registration form at the welcome desk of the Bear Athletic Center on 10th Avenue anytime, find a registration form online at hoofinit5k.wordpress.com, or register on race day from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Bear Athletic Center.
