Mission Board at work

To the editor:

The Mission Board is always at work and here is proof that it never ends.

Hephzibah House — collecting ladies clothes & personal items.

Salvation Army — the usual plus the items that you may not know of like scrap metal, worn out shoes, belts, purses, hats, stained up clothes  (when you drop these items off  tell the person that these to be bagged up for the truck).  These kinds of items are also sold to help support what they do.  Did you know that they sell dog and cat blankets or quilts for $1 for the animals to sleep on in the winter?  They can use your plastic bags all year round.

High School — collecting personal items such as shampoo, soap, tampax, deodorants, etc. for the kids who can't afford them.  Even trial size.

JCARL — can always use cat or dog food but they can also use your old sheets, blankets, and towels. They are always collecting cans and bottles.

Schools — your boxtops

We are always looking for an empty building to hold garage sales-so keep your ears open for a place. If you know of a possibility, call me at (641) 792-7186.
