Five students from Berg Middle School were selected into the North Central American Choral Directors Association Regional Honor Choir that took place March 19-22 during the biennial NC-ACDA Conference held in downtown Des Moines.

Only a select group of students were chosen to be in four different honor choirs out of the thousands of students who auditioned from across Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Natalie Camp, Kinzie Loree, Julianna Knoot and Laura Wyre were all selected to sing in the seventh through ninth grade Middle Level Girls Honor Choir.

Daniel Lopez-Sanders was selected into the seventh through ninth grade Middle Level Boys Honor Choir.

Each group rehearses from Thursday through Saturday at different churches in the downtown area, culminating in concerts Saturday afternoon at the Civic Center.
