Eagle teams split against Unity Christian

ORANGE CITY — Pella Christian’s Eagle boys outlasted host Unity Christian Saturday afternoon. The Eagles won 49-45.

It was not a good road trip for the Eagle girls. Unity Christian almost scored as many points in the first quarter as the Eagles did in the game. Pella Christian lost 68-23. Unity Christian was up 21-3 after one quarter.

Lauren Jungling and Tessa Howezyl each had eight points for PC. Marina Shannon added six points and Morgan Anderson had one point.

The PC boys got out to a 14-9 lead then staved off Unity Christian’s challenges the rest of the way.

Coltin Collins led PC with 14 points. Sebastian Baugh and Levi Jungling each scored 11.
