An old-fashioned “barn” dance will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jasper County Community Center.
All dances during the family-friendly event will be taught, so no knowledge or experience is necessary. There is no need to bring a partner. Acoustic musicians are welcome to join the band off-mic.
Admission is $5, with babies and toddlers admitted for free. There is a family maximum of $20, or pay what you can — no one will be turned away.
