To the editor:

The Jasper County Historical Society would like to thank everyone who helped make our Dark Night at the Museum a success.

The enactors were Lonnie Appleby and Sally Rorabaugh in the funeral scene, Pack 354 Cub Scouts in the Indian scene, Gary and Jim Kopsa as the Civil War soldiers, Sandi and Harvey Olsthorn as the witch and Zoro, Linda Perrenoud as the fortune teller and Dave Rorabaugh as Ol’ Lonely.

Also: Diane Dafflito as a thunderbolt, Pauline Hesson as the crazy clown, Fred Chabot as the mad barber, Olive Jane Lamb and children in the ‘30s house, Cammy Newton as the organ player, Linda Pierce as the teacher, Spirit of ‘76 Questers in the Victorian bedroom with Lana Gertxen as the ghost and the zombies Tammy and Frank Sposets.

Also, thanks to the directors and members of the Historical Society for serving as guides, both inside and outside. We all had a lot of fun.

Thanks to Pence Reese Funeral Home for use of the casket.
