Oct. 27 – Nov. 2, 2003  

The Pence-Reese Funeral Home invited the public to an open house at its new facility at 310 N. Second Ave. E… The Newton Daily News ran a 20-page supplement on Women in Business, recognizing women in the Newton business community, as well as women across the U.S. who have impacted our society… The Universal Art Gallery, located on the Newton square for slightly less than one year, closed at the end of the week.  The gallery was created as a place for local artists to display and sell their work.
