The Oregon Trail will be the subject of a Lunch and Learn program at noon Wednesday at the Jasper County Historical Museum, 1700 S. 15th Ave. W. in Newton.

Connie Robertson discovered picture postcards in her family records made from pictures taken along the route of the Oregon Trail. A family member who had traveled the trail later retraced their trip and took the pictures later made into postcards.

Connie will narrate the trip and provide musical accompaniment. The program is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch to eat while listening to the program.
