Lester H. Evans, 78, of Prairie City died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel. A memorial gathering will be at noon Monday at the Prairie City Community Room. The public is welcome to stop by and share stories about Les. The family will also greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.
