MONROE — Prairie City-Monroe’s Mustangs had a shot to take the district lead in their game against Albia on Friday, but the Blue Demons showed up ready to play. Albia rolled PCM on the road 49-6.

Albia only completed nine passes on the day, but they totaled three touchdowns. The Blue Demons rushed for four more touchdowns and forced two PCM turnovers.

The Mustangs will try to shake off the district loss this week when they head to Osceola to take on Clarke.
