An order of continuance has been issued in the case of Jena M. Wright who is charged with child endangerment resulting in death, neglect or abandonment of a dependant person, assault of a peace officer and interference with official acts inflicting bodily injury.
On April 22, Wright is alleged to have left a four-year-old girl alone with a large dog that attack the girl. Upon being arrested the next day, she kicked the officer in the chest and resisted arrest.
At the initial pretrial conference on Sept. 16, an order on continuance was issued, setting the date for the new pretrial conference on Jan. 13, 2014 with the trail set to start on Feb. 19, 2014.
