An after-school program is being offered this fall by Jasper County Conservation naturalists for students ages 8-14 years old who enjoy being outdoors and want to have fun while learning more about hunting and fishing.

The group will meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 25 through Oct. 30, at the Emerson Hough Chapter of the Izaak Walton League in Newton.

To sign up, call Jasper County Conservation at (641) 792-9780 or email conservation@co.jasper.ia.us. There is no fee for the program. More information and a complete schedule of topics is available at www.jaspercountyconservation.com.
