Learning more about football in Newton’s first Gridiron Gals was this group of ladies. The Newton Booster Club sponsored the mini-camp Aug. 9 at H.A. Lynn Stadium. Newton head football coach Ed Ergenbright and his coaching staff taught participants about different positions in football and the basics of the game, including having the ladies go through drills that the Cardinal players do at practices.
