Malloy Maple and Tanner Nearmyer of Newton announce the birth of their son, Brantley Lawrence Nearmyer, on June 6, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Brantley weighed 4 lbs., 12 oz., and was 19 1/4 inches long.
Grandparents are De Ann Engle and Eric Maple, both of Colfax, and Rick Nearmyer and Rita Nearmyer, both of Newton.
Great-grandparents are Tuck and Kathy Engle of Colfax and Bev Nearmyer and Arleen Cushatt, both of Newton.
Great-great-grandparents are Darlene and Donnie Engle of Newton and Kathryn and Art Samson of Reasnor.
