Newton’s downtown will host one ridiculous day on Saturday. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Newton businesses downtown and others around town will offer bargains as part of Ridiculous Day organized by the Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce.
All of the businesses on the square will be participating. Additionally, horse and buggy rides will be available for only $2. From 1 to 3 p.m., a car show will be hosted on the square. Entrance is free, but the first to come are the first served. “Cool Cars ‘Round the Square” is a shine and show event, with trophies for the best in show.
