CEDAR RAPIDS (AP) — Authorities have released the names of two people who were killed when the motorcycle they were on struck the rear of a semitrailer in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids police identified them as 32-year-old Marc Stober and 22-year-old Amelia Kutella. Both lived in Cedar Rapids.
Police say Stober was driving the motorcycle around 1 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 380 when the bike went out of control and rammed into the back of the big rig.
Stober and Kutella were pronounced dead at the scene.
