MINNETONKA, Minn. — Syngenta and its Enogen corn brand, together with agricultural and biofuels organizations that advocate for the American ethanol industry, will unite for a full day of events at the Iowa Speedway on July 13 for the American Ethanol 200 NASCAR Truck Race.
Enogen corn is the presenting sponsor of the race.
In addition to the 200-lap main event, a go-kart race between ethanol producers called the Firewater Chase will take place earlier in the afternoon. Prior to the finale of the go-kart race, Syngenta will host a media briefing at 4:30 p.m. to make a special announcement together with biofuels industry partners, ethanol producers and farmers.
Gates open at 11:15 a.m., and the Firewater Chase qualification heats begin at 3 p.m. The Firewater Chase finale will begin at 6 p.m., and the American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen begins at 7:30 p.m.
