Lorie Line and Her Fab Five did a set in honor of our nation's veterans, one group for which she often conducts fundraisers. The two-hour concert included a wide variety of musical tastes for an all-ages audience.

Lorie Line opened her show Friday night at the Newton Community Theatre auditorium with some music of The Beatles. By the time her two-hour show was over, she had performed a little Country, a little Gospel, some AC/DC and some Hendrix, a little Bluegrass, a little Big Band and even a dose of Gangnam Style.

The small but enthusiastic crowd on hand for her "Intimate Series" performance included a healthy dose of both her hardcore "Linebackers," as well as folks who walked away as new fans. Following the show, Line stayed in the front lobby to greet each fan and to take photos and sign autographs for each one.

See a review of the concert in Monday's Daily News.
