Dumping trash in country is unsanitary, discourteous

To the editor:

This is to thank office worker Kim Keenan and County Auditor Dennis Parrott for acting on a phone call I made.

I complained about large, discarded items that I thought had been dumped on county property within view of Highway F36 and our residence, at least a distance of a city block away. It was most unsightly.

The trash has been cleaned up and the view from F36 and our residence is clean again.

For those of the public who think they can discard their unwanted items along the road or in view of the neighbors, think again.

Not only is it unsanitary and discourteous, it makes our beautiful countryside look like a dump.
