4-H Trip to Kansas City

Nine middle school youth from Jasper County recently explored and discovered Kansas City while on the annual 4-H Intermediate Trip. The local 4-H students joined youth from eight other counties for the opportunity to learn about science, industry, history and more at the Arabia Steamboat Museum and the Moon Marble Company. They learned about time management, sales and marketing, consumer product selection, consumer management, food and nutrition responsibilities, citizenship and social skills all while making friends and having fun at Bass Pro Shop, a Kansas City Royals game and Worlds of Fun.
