MASON CITY (AP) — A Mason City man who says he was using his lawn mower to chase a gopher has been told to stay home.
The Mason City Globe Gazette says an officer was dispatched Tuesday morning to check a report that a man was damaging his neighbors’ lawns.
The man was spotted outside his home, where he reported that he’d deployed his lawn mower in the pursuit of the pesky gopher. The officer told the man to stay inside his own home until he sobered up.
