Vendor has different take on ‘pole’ at motorcycle rally

It is often said that cockroaches would be the only thing left in the event of a nuclear disaster. Strip Club Choppers franchisee Collin Robertson and his crew believe that “bikes and strip clubs will always be around” as well.

Robertson and his crew traveled from Omaha to attend and sell merchandise for attendees of the Iowa Grand Motorcycle Rally at Iowa Speedway.

“Ten years ago, a couple of guys outside of a strip club were on their motorcycles, and that was the concept,” Robertson said.

Since those early days, Strip Club Choppers has grown.

“We are franchised in over 30 states and a few countries,” Robertson said. “We have been seen in Afghanistan and actually have our logo painted on a few government vehicles.”

Strip Club Choppers was selling a variety of wares under their tent at the rally, many of which come adorned with their “Pole Girl” logo. They also make custom bikes for customers and brought a tricked out purple Harley Davidson to the rally with a stripper pole attached to the rear.

“Our bikes have been on Jay Leno. It’s just a growing company,” Robertson said. “We have a full line of motorcycle parts, from our motorcycle frames to our wheels, and they all have the Pole Girl logo.”
