Although a few Jasper County sports events played out yesterday, a majority of them were again called off due to weather.
The Newton girls golf team’s meet against Norwalk at Countryside Golf Course has been rescheduled for Thursday, but the girls track team’s meet at Grinnell was canceled indefinitely.
Other rescheduled events include Prairie City-Monroe boys soccer hosting Gilbert moving to April 30 and the Colfax-Mingo girls golf team’s meet at Riverbend Golf Course in Story City moving to April 29.
Other canceled events included PCM and Colfax-Mingo boys track at Eddyville-Blakesburg and Collins-Maxwell-Baxter girls track at South Hamilton.
