Girl Scouts Against Hunger

Girl Scout Troop #116 from Woodrow Wilson Elementary School packaged 3,888 meals for the Kids Against Hunger program on April 8 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The food will be sent to countries such as Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Haiti as well as in Iowa and other parts of the United States. So far, in 2013, the Girl Scout troop has packaged 8,500 meals.
