‘Die Hard’ movie party planned at First Avenue Speakeasy

It is hard to believe that it has almost been 25 years since the first “Die Hard” movie came out, but for some fans, it is more than just a movie. It is an event.

To help commemorate the new “Die Hard” movie, titled “A Good Day to Die Hard,” Zach Johnson has organized a celebration party at the First Avenue Speakeasy to honor the new movie starting at 6 p.m. Specials include $2 beers from 6 to 8 p.m. and a $3 shot named after the movie’s signature line.

The Capitol II Theater will be premiering the movie at 10 p.m. tonight. They are running a $10 special for any movie until Thursday if users like their Facebook page, which includes: a movie ticket, one small popcorn and a small soda. Limit one per person, and users must print off “proof of like” to obtain the deal.
