Positive Results for Baxter FFA at District Review Night

The Baxter FFA Chapter had a successful night at District Review Night Monday, Feb. 4 in Chariton. Seven members will receive their Iowa Degrees at State FFA Convention in Ames in April. Congratulations to Jenna Ziesman, Anne Deutsch, Kylie VanRyswyk, Tim Thalacker, Jordon Hiney, McKenna Wigg, and Cole Pohlman. Austin Egger received Gold and a second place rating for his Proficiency Award in Agriculture Mechanics Repair and Maintenance. Egger’s Proficiency will be reviewed at the State level later in February. Chapter officers also worked hard to complete their books for review. Alex Broderick received a Bronze for his Secretary’s Book while Jenna Ziesman received Gold and a second place rating for her Treasurer’s Book. Ziesman’s book will be judged at the state level in April. The chapter’s final success for the night came from McKenna Wigg. McKenna is participating in a two-step process to run for District Office. She interviewed for District Office and made the ballot. McKenna will deliver a speech at Districts in March.
